CutContour on CorelDraw



Cut contour is use on some printer machine that usually
cut media such stickers and many others, now in such
printers machine it requires the pattern to follow this is the
use of the cut contour. So here i will show you how to create
a cut contour on coreldraw..

Step 1
on menu bar go to color palettes select palette editor now
a dialog box will appear



Step 2
Click add color a dialog box will appear now we need
a unique color so we should go to the models tab any color
for as long as it is different from others then add to pallete.



Step 3
Change the color name to CutContour type it no spacing
exactly what i have type..



Step 4
press ok then now you can use your cut contour..
Select your object on your side tool bar choose
outline pen tool choose cut contour..

Glossy Text



Step 1
Create your desired text in here i will use the "PSD" text
color:#36abe2.


Step 2
Create a new layer then using the elipse tool create a oblong circle
color "white" place the object above the half of the text upper part.

Step 3
Press Ctrl then Click on the Text Symbol of your text layer "T"
Your text should have a broken lines as image shown below


Step 4
Now select the circle layer then duplicate it by pressing ctrl +j
change the circle opacity to about 45% delete the original layer
of your circle. your image will now look like this:

Step 5
Using pen tool create your pattern on the edge part of the letters
as image shown below:

Step 6
Create new layer foreground to white select brush tool follow
the setting below:



Step 7
Right click on any part of the image then choose stroke path
follow the setting below:



press escape to remove the pen tool path and
apply some blending option:



Step 8
using the step 5,6 & 7 apply to the different edges of your text.



and were done...

Christmas Balls



Now Using CorelDraw we're going to make a colorful Christmas Balls
for Christmas is in the air..


Step 1
Create a circle apply the Fountain fill dialog following
the setting below:





Step 2
Creating the shiny part of the Balls create the appropriate pattern
as image shown below using the freehand tool & Shape tool.



Step 3
after creating your shape object fill it with white
now using the Interactive transparency tool we
will lighten it following the pattern below:

Step 4
Duplicate your last object reverse it as image shown below

Step 5
Creating now the balls holder so starting with creating
a rectangular shape place it below the circle and apply the
following Fountain fill dialog



Step 6
Create again a smaller rectangle and place it also below the cricle
apply also the Fountain Fill dialog follwing the Step 5 settings.


Step 7
Create two( 2) circles a small & a bigger one center it to each other
the small one is above the bigger one fill is white for the small circle
then the bigger one apply the fountain dialog fill following again
the Step 5 settings.


Step 8
Create a straight rectangle apply the fountain dialog fill following again
the Step 5 Settings.

and we're done try to experiments colorful colors,
now you can use this balls in designing your
chrismast wallpapers..
